Corta-Venas EP // LaLove’s Kitchen: Latin-Midweek Drama Recipes

La❤️’s Kitchen; micro latin-gard territory, cross-cultural cookfire forum, real-time healing justice encounter; being developed by a collaborative network of Latin artists and Latino like-hearted people through seasonal series of community-supported, dinning-peformance or affective-physical, in-situ, freewheeling living recipes.

The La❤️’s Kitchen project was launched in 2019 as a sequel of “Love Kollaps” – a performative Berlin´s Telenovela, played between 2014-2015 by Venezuelan artist Lalo Gomes, a.k.a “La❤️”, in SoMos Art House, among other various contexts in Berlin city; and, since then, it is part of the special house programm of Sari-Sari and carried out with the support of Nowhere Kitchen

*CORTA-VENAS EPISODE

To get started, hopefully all past episodes have served to get you well mature for living through the events of this next one.

On this CORTA-VENAS EPISODE, La❤️ presents a melodramatic living recipe for a drama sin final, that is: a Latino bloody tragedy.

Till now, we have celebrated the queer, colorful, spontaneous, affectionate, and happy side of a Latino dramatic heart; it is time so for bringing some light to what’s laying underneath.

An experience and a meal designed to share the juice of Latino grief expressions; a corta-venas evening in between unpleasant shadows and visceral presences.

An edition for the broken hearts, for the abandoned, for the people who have been throwing out, for those who wants to kill the body to not feel more pain, for the empty, for the sacrificed, for the desperate, for those who feel their drama will never end…

“La❤️’s Kitchen: Corta-Venas Episode” is organized, directed and hosted by Lalo Gomes @lalobylalo, Co-hosted by Harriet Charles @yaknelelorza; introducing Meal designer and Cook chief
Emilio Cordero @emiliocorderocheca.

This edition counts with the special musical company of JM TIEMPO (Joan Manuel Orihuela Lopez)
